Sleeping Beauty Shelved

This is not 100% for sure, but sources are saying that the BBC Television production of Sleeping Beauty has been cancelled. This is apparently because a major American backer pulled their funding. Shooting for the film never began. The film is to have a big budget and apparently it cannot be met. So for now the film has been shelved, unless somehow funding will come for it in the future.

Church Attacks

The latest issue of Church Of Ireland Gazette attacks the wedding of Victoria Adams. It claims that it was not a holy ceremony and that many priests will shiver when they see the published pictures of the event and how much the picture rights were sold for, as well as the ridiculous security and special permission to wed because requirements were not met that would not have been given to a non-celeb couple. To defend Victoria is the Bishop who married her - Rev. Paul Colton labeled the article as being "naive" and insists that all legal requirements for marriage were met accordingly.

Victoria TrackHer

Victoria and her husband David Beckham recently did a photo-shoot in Paris for Princess Diana's favorite photographer Patrick De Marchelier. She apparently had a bit of a row with him when he wanted her to wear clothing she did not like, Victoria ended up getting her way and wore only what she wanted. Victoria was also recently seen with her sister Louise shopping for summer outfits for Brooklyn. Victoria tried to disguise herself by wearing faded jeans, a strappy top, and a baseball cap.

MelC Tour

Forgot to mention in the new MelC solo info incase you didn't read the Q Magazine interview with Mel C that she will do a small tour of her own covering Liverpool, London, New York, Sydney, Tokyo, and Toronto. The dates/venues/any other info about the concerts has not yet been released.

Scary Gets A Lap Dance

This is a story that is actually from last Saturday, but I did not post it because it sounded very untrue due to the incorrect information it already presented before even getting to the main story, ie: Mel G's brother, she doesn't have one! Perhaps her husband was mistaken for her brother however. This story is getting enough attention that I figure I might as well post it:

RUMOR WARNING

After Melanie G attended Victoria's wedding, she went to the cheeky Strings Club in Dublin. She was there with her brother, a friend, and two body guards. She was wearing her trademark leapord-skin bra, jeans, and cowboy boots. The interesting thing is that Melanie asked for a lap-dance, and got one from 28 year old dancer Charlotte Jackson. Charlotte said:

"It was totally overwhelming. I didn't know what to do. I was speechless. I had seen a woman come in out of the corner of my eye with an Afro hairstyle, but when I realised who it was I was amazed. I am a big Spice Girls fan, and Scary is my favourite, so I couldn't believe it when she asked me to dance for her. It wasn't one of the best nights I've had financially, but it was definitely different, and dancing for Mel G is a memory I will take to my grave! These days it's quite common for women to ask for lapdances, especially on Saturday nights, when quite a lot of them come in with their partners. In Europe the attitude towards it is very different. Most of the time I dance in Switzerland and Austria, and because of the cabaret circuit in Berlin it's a lot more old hat over there. I got the impression Mel was at the club for a laugh."

A Spice Girls spokesman apparently confirmed that Mel G went to the Strings Club and asked for two dances. He said "It was a girls' night out."

Melanie C has shot her first solo video for "Goin' Down" this week in Los Angeles. Apparently she has already ditched her short blonde look as she is trying out different looks to give herself an image outside of Spice Girls. She now has gone back to her dark hair roots with a spikey new haircut and a dog-collar. Interestingly enough she is keeping the skimpy tops and short skirts in her image.

Stolen Silverware

In an interview that The Mirror of course managed to sqeeze out of David & Victoria when dropping off their thrones(Story). Victoria told about how the guests which were banned from taking pictures at the wedding instead decided to take the silverware. The guests took 75 solid-silver goblets. The silverware, which is worth thousands of pounds, does not belong to David or Victoria, it was rented! Victoria said:

"It's a bit embarrassing. It's flattering that people took them as a memento but we'd only hired them and it seems they are quite valuable. One of the newspapers carried an article saying guests could keep the goblets and napkin holders. But that was wrong. So if anybody has them, please give them back! You can keep the velvet napkin rings."

The Mirror ran a poll of who should get to keep the £9,000 thrones which were used by David & Victoria at their wedding since The Mirror had acquired them somehow. The fans voted that Victoria & David should get to keep them themselves. So the mirror drove their van to Victoria's parents' home with the two gift wrapped thrones. Victoria was very ecstatic as she squeeled when she saw them and said:

"I didn't know what was arriving. This is fantastic, I've been trying to get hold of them since the wedding. We fell in love with them, they're so beautiful, solid, luxurious, and comfortable. This is a lovely present. It's really kind of you. Thank you to The Mirror and Mirror readers. They're brilliant."

Victoria's mother asked her daughter:

"Where are you going to put them now? They won't fit under my kitchen table!"

Emma Bunton & Ronan Keating will release a charity single of "Don't Go Breaking My Heart" which they performed this past Saturday at the Wicked Women breast cancer charity(Story). An insider said:

"Emma and Ronan were talking with people from the charity afterwards. Ronan said he'd love to record it if Emma wanted to. Emma thought he was joking. Then she realised he was serious and was as keen as him."

The release date for the single is yet to be announced.

Northern Star Finished

Melanie C has completed recording her first solo album Northern Star. The album was recorded in Los Angeles over the past few months and is due for release in October. The first single off the album will be "Goin' Down" and will be released in September. The single will feature "Ga Ga" on it as a bonus track, rather then a B-Side. The album is under the Virgin Record label and was produced mostly by Rick Rubin with help from William Orbit. Madonna's influence on the album, if any in reality, is yet unknown.

Too Thin?

There have been many reports lately that Victoria is ridiculously thin, thinner then she was before she was pregnant! She has been alleged to be doing heavy amounts of working out. Victoria has replied and said:

"I'm not too thin and I eat enough. I eat as much as anyone else. I have never been on any fitness regime. The only exercise I do is sit-ups but the rest of the time eat what I want. I do eat a lot of fish and not much fatty food which helps my protein intake but doesn't let me put weight on."

Victoria would like to purchase a mini-coach complete with bed, shower, and full time chauffer so her husband can use it to commute to work every day. This is because David wants to be closer to his Manchester United training grounds where he has to be every week day at 9.30am. When David is in Hertfordshire, he as to get up at 5am to make it on time. Victoria also wants to move to the south to be closer to her parents. She is rumored to want to already ditch her £300,000 Cheshire penthouse flat for a bigger house because she is planning a large family, and she can use the babysitting help of her mother.

NOT SPICE NEWS - Personal problems are not as major as they were at the moment, allowing me to update the news now. Here comes the news dump. It's only for the last few days, well actually almost a week. There should be a significant amount of news stories. Problems

NOT SPICE NEWS - I have some major problems right now, which are preventing me from updating the news. I might be able to update it in the next couple days, I might not. Victoria's Clones

Victoria has set a new record. She will have not one but two wax models of herself on display at Madame Tussauds, one of London's top tourist attractions. The wax museum will have one version of her with the rest of the Spice Girls, and another more motherly version of her with David Beckham.

V99 Official + MelC Album Info

Melanie C has just recently been officially announced as a performer at V99, a music festival which will take place on August 21st & 22nd at Hylands Park in Clemsford and Weston Park in Staffordshire respectively. It is unknown who will fill the role of her backup band but she will preview material from her upcoming album Northern Star. Industry insiders say the album is a modern rock type, in similar style to Garbage(thats the band of course). It was also revealed that another one of her producers for the album was Rick Rubin. The first single off the album will be released in September through Virgin Records and is entitled "Goin' Down".

Victoria & David Beckham were seen out and about two days ago walking around the streets of London.

Final Wedding Post

This is most likely the final post on the wedding of Victoria & David, as new information has stopped coming in. OK! Magazine will probably still publish a few more pictures in the coming week's issues. However, all information about the wedding seems to be out & known, pictures available, I do believe we are finished with it. Sleeping Beauty Update

The BBC television production of Sleeping Beauty which is to star Emma as Sleeping Beauty has been put on hold. There has been no shooting done yet for the production. There is no official reason why the project is on hold but there are many rumors such as it is because of financial problems, management problems, and even that Emma herself requested the delay.

New TOTP

The new issue of Top Of The Pops(UK) features a two page interview with the Spice Girls. Here is a snippet:

TOTP: Do you think the Spice Girls are a better group without Geri?
Mel G: I think it's stronger vocally with just the four of us.
Victoria: I think also we're happier. Well, maybe not happier but we are really happy as a four piece.
Emma: It's comfortable.
Mel C: I think it was quite strange...you know, when Geri decided to leave. It was quite a tough time for us, it was just at the end of our European tour and we didn't have long to get things together but we did it and I think it's made us stronger. It always felt really comfortable just the four of us and it's quite strange now, it's hard to actually imagine her ever being part of the band.

TOTP: Do u still get upset when you read the "Spice Girls To Split!" stories in the press?
Mel G: When you get back from doing a tour, you hear this story and that story, it's quite mad.
Victoria: Yeah, exactly. I wish they would just stop all this "you haven't done anything for two days, so you've broke up then". Do you know what I mean?
Emma: It's happened so many times. Everything we do makes someone say "They're breaking up!" You just give up explaining it and get on with what you're doing.

£50,000 In Gifts

David & Victoria gave out over £50,000 in gifts to thank guests who made their big day into a romantic fairytale wedding. Victoria spent a fortune on presents purchased at at Princess Diana's favourite jeweller's Asprey's. Victoria bought her sister Louise a sparkling £8,000 necklace from the store. She bought her brother Christian a £12,000 Rolex Sub-Mariner watch. Their parents received special gifts as well. Even little nieces Liberty and Georgina got sparkling necklaces. David purchased best man Gary Neville a £12,000 watch.

Adams' VS Beckhams

Apparently the relatives on the side of David Beckham do not get along so well with the relatives on Victoria's side of the family, David's Uncle revealed in a story he sold to The Mirror. He said:

"I'm not sure why things turned out the way they did. I think it's because the families are worlds apart "I've met Victoria's family. They think the world of David but we don't get on as well. We hardly ever see David these days. It's such a shame. We used to be really close but we have just drifted apart. He has changed since he met Victoria. That is what women do to men, isn't it."

Victoria's father Tony was asked about the situation and he said:

"We have absolutely no comment to make."

Posh Is No Role Model

Victoria came in last place in a poll held by the Bread for Life campaign as to who people aged 18-25 look up to as role models. 950 people were interviewed. Victoria gave a lengthy response saying:

"I never asked anyone to look upon me as a role model for any group of people, that would be incredibly arrogant. I don't know anything about the survey which put me at the bottom of the list for achievements. I think I've managed quite a bit, but I've never said performing in a band equals saving a life or doing anything really important. People can be cynical and some seem to look for the negative in everything. I have a high public profile but I'm aware of my responsibilities and take them seriously. I'm doing a job which means recognition comes with the territory. I live my own life, but try as best I can to send positive messages, not just to girls or young people, but anyone. I enjoy doing what I do, it's important for everyone to work at something they enjoy. That's not always easy, people are constrained in different ways, but there are things worth striving for and making sacrifices for. Although I would never tell anyone what to do with their life, I would always hope they would follow their dreams. It's important that people look after themselves in all kinds of ways. I'm aware of my responsibilities, not just as a public figure but as a mother, and drugs for example are not on my agenda. I would say to anyone who is up there, not necessarily in the same industry, to think about what they're doing and how they are coming across to people and try to send out positive messages. I don't have a role model myself, some people need them, some don't. The best thing to do is try to be yourself."

Drunk Spice Girls

Well Emma and Melanie G seem to have made up after their little argument the other night at Momo's. They were out and about at Emma's favorite hang out in London, the trendy Met Bar. In fact, the two were having such a good time that they had a tremendous amount to drink and soon were both drunk. They eventually jumped up on their seats in the bar lobby peeping into the street outside giving passers-by the two finger salute, the opposite of their normal Girl Power salute! Mel G lost her balance on the chair and brought the window blind crashing to the ground.

Next MelG Single Revised

In conflict with the previous story about Melanie G's upcoming single which is supposedly called "Feel Me Now", today on MTV(US) Total Request Live R&B group Blackstreet said that Mel G's next single was produced by them and is called "Pack Your Shit". They described the song as being "crazy". Thanks Francisco.

Argument At Momo's

RUMOR WARNING

According to Matthew Wright's column in The Mirror, who has been revealing the latest rumors and information constantly about the Spice Girls since they were around, Melanie G and Emma were having a heated discussion when they arrived at Momo's restaurant in London on Tuesday night. Emma and Mel only stayed at the restaurant for 15 minutes, before leaving in seperate limos.

Married On Monday, Not Sunday!

Remember that whole drama about Victoria and David rumored to not be able to marry in Dublin because they did not meet the requirements? Well the final truth about the matter finally comes out. It turns out that the couple did fail to give the required three months notice of their marriage but had a special license made, granted by the Archbishop of Dublin, which allowed them to wed without the three month notice. The special license is usually given to people who are too sick to get to church or terminally ill and unable to wait 12 weeks. The marriage was not actually recognized under Irish law until Monday afternoon, the day after the wedding! This is when it was filed at Dublin's Central Registry Office. So, in reality, David & Victoria were not legally married until Monday, July 5th!

The next single that Melanie G will release is said to be called "Feel Me Now", and is said to be too much for the younger fans as it is to include her moaning.

Northern Star Gets Another Producer

Melanie C has managed to get William Orbit to work on her debut solo album entitled Northern Star. William Orbit was responsible for producing Madonna's Ray Of Light album. Melanie is said to be back in the US now, working with William Orbit on her album.

MelC At V99

Melanie C will be performing at V99, a music festival which takes place on August 21st and 22nd at Hylands Parks in Chelmsford, Essex, and at Weston Park in staffs respectively. Melanie C told Zoe Ball that she wouldn't be able to attend her marriage to Normon Cook aka Fatboy Slim because of the event. Wedding Dress On Exhibit

A spokeswoman for London's Victoria and Albert Museum said that her managers are bidding to get Victoria's £60,000 dress on display at the museum!

Honeymoon Follow-Up

Victoria was interviewed at her parent's Hertfordshire home yesterday for the first time since her wedding. Victoria recieved a fabulous diamond waist chain and matching diamond earings as a honeymoon gift from David. Her chain is estimated to be worth £10,000! As Victoria showed off her new earings she said:

"Look what David bought me. It was a wedding present. He gave me matching earrings too. They're diamonds. Aren't they lovely? I love David so much. We can't be apart from each other for more than a few hours. I miss him too much. It was such a romantic holiday, a wonderful few days. I feel so relaxed. In the end, I think we had four days. It was lovely because it was just the three of us. Brooklyn came too, we couldn't bear to be parted. I don't want to say too much, but it was sad we had to leave early. But we won't be apart long. He's just gone out now to collect Brooklyn and will leave later tonight."

The couple did not stay at Elton John's mansion in Nice as previously reported. Last night the couple went out to dinner at The Ivy, one of London's most expensive restaurants and bumped into Michael Jordan and Madonna. Madonna invited the newly weds to join them for dinner. Victoria said about Madonna:

She was lovely. I talked about Brooklyn and asked her about her daughter Lourdes. We shared quite a few tips as mothers."

Honeymoon Over

Today Victoria and David returned to England from their honeymoon. They flew back on British Airlines(in the Business section) to Heathrow from Nice. The couple stayed at Elton John's majestic, £4 million Mediterranean villa. They both now have nice tans. Victoria wore a tight-fitting top and black leather trousers and munched through six packets of pretzel snacks and passed on the in-fleight meal. David Beckham changed Brooklyn's diapers and fed him. Brooklyn at one point vomited on him!

OK! Magazine Available!

The Victoria Wedding issue of OK! Magazine is available! It was actually released yesterday. It devotes 47 pages to the wedding! In the article, David Beckham reveals that he and Victoria asked more specifically for Marks & Spencer gift vouchers. David says:

"Not everyone can afford to go out and buy huge presents and we don't want them anyway."

The magazine is flying off the news stands, one assistant at WH Smith in London's Victoria Station said:

"I've never seen anything like it. People have been flocking in. The Royal wedding came nowhere near."

More On Shortened Honeymoon

The reason why Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is not allowing David Beckham the time off for his honeymoon is because United is being threatened with the loss of half of a £1.8 million contract if Beckham doesn't play on the Australian tour. Beckham was told long before the wedding that he would need to be back with the team by July 12, and it appears that he & Victoria were sure they would get an extension when planning their honeymoon. A spokesman for the Australian promoters said:

"We've tried to be nice but we've been forced to get tough. It's not the honeymoon any more, it's a two million dollar penalty instead."

It basically just tells us everything we already knew, however it cleans up some of he information, and adds a bit more accuracy. Such as that David & Victoria were pronounced man & wife at exactly 4:02PM Dublin time.

Secret Cameras

As we know, The Sun newspaper tabloid has been printing some pictures of David & Victoria from the wedding which took place this past Sunday. The pictures appear to be video stills. How in the world did this slip through the ridiculous security that was present at the wedding!? Experts believe that the video pictures were taken by a mini spy-camera. It uses a two millimeter diameter lens fitted to a cable. The camera's eye can be concealed within an outer layer of clothing, and the actual recorder is barely larger than a pocketbook. It is unknown who the spy was, or whether it was someone paid by the Sun, or that decided to do it and then sell the pictures.

Small Wedding Pics

Some scans are finally available of The Sun and The Mirror newspapers. It has turned out that these new pictures were not given to the tabloids by OK! Magazine, and that somehow the tabloids got their hands on them themselves! It is suspected that someone on the photography team at OK! Magazine leaked them. Either way, here they are, they're really small and it's really hard to see anything at all, but it gives you an idea:

Heat Interview

Melanie G was recently interviewed by Heat magazine. In the interview she talks about her marriage to Jimmy Gulzar and how the newspapers have exaggerated everything in thinking that they are having marriage troubles. Melanie said:

"The papers have exaggerated everything. Me and Jim are very much in tune with one another. He's 33 so he has his head screwed on. He's got a daughter and a wife to look after and there's a lot of love between us all."

Up All Night

Victoria and David Beckham were up all night on their wedding night! After guests left at 2am, the OK! Magazine publicist said that all the photographs they took from the day's event are developed. So Victoria and David stayed up all night looking at the photos of their precious day. They finally retired to bed at sunrise.

Pictures!

Looks the The Sun and The Mirror, the two main rival UK tabloids, each have gotten a picture from David & Victoria's wedding! The picture was provided to them by OK! Magazine as a "teaser" picture, in exchange for a free advertizement for OK! Magazine. The picture is of Victoria laughing about a joke made by Mel C, and David is cradling Brooklyn. Victoria is still in her wedding dress in this picture, however a scan of the picture is not available online yet. The picture that is available, is this one of David Beckham. It's not much but it's something! He is wearing the suit he got married in. Keep it here as the scans from the Sun & Mirror will be posted as soon as available!

New MelC Hair

Melanie C is sporting a new hair style once again. Although it can not be seen very clearly, here is a picture of Melanie the day before the wedding in the streets of Dublin with her new hairstyle.

Wedding Dress Sketch

Here is a sketch of what Victoria looked like in her wedding dress. The sketch was made by a witness at the wedding. No pictures have surfaced yet as the tight security seems to have paid off. Looks like we are all at the hands of OK! magazine whenever the decide to release their David & Victoria wedding issue. Credit for this sketch goes to The Sun.

The Day After

Most of the guests left or are leaving Dublin today. Victoria and David have also left Dublin today for their secret honeymoon location, which is said to be in Boca Boca Tahiti.

Wedding Wrap-Up

The wedding day of Victoria Adams and David Beckham has come to an end. Victoria is now known as Victoria Beckham. Victoria's dress for the wedding was a £60,000 silk ivory colored dress. The top half of the dress was made of a low-cut corset designed to emphasize her tiny waist and draw attention to her cleavage! It had a 20 foot long veil and a diamond tiara. David was dressed in a matching suit and black shoes. Victoria's bridesmaid was her sister Louise, not the Spice Girls as previously rumored. Victoria's niece Liberty and David's niece Georgina, both only 16 months old were flower girls and were dressed as angels. One white dove was released before the vows begun to symbolize the love between David & Victoria. After the vows, 99 more were released. During the vows, David Beckham was the first to start crying! Once he had started, Victoria couldn't hold back. David, the only one interviewed so far after the wedding said:

"Once I started, Victoria was next and then Mel G's baby Phoenix Chi started crying. I think half the congregation ended up in tears. But it was just the emotion of the moment for me. I've known Victoria was the woman for me from the first time I set eyes on her and this is the moment I've dreamed of since I first met her."

Baby Brooklyn however kept quiet and happy throughout the wedding. He was also dressed in an ivory outfit to mach Victoria's and was watched over by the rest of the Spice Girls, not held in the arms of David as previously thought. As the couple were pronounced man and wife, a purple flag went up with the initials V, D, and B, obviously standing for Victoria, David, and Brooklyn. Gary Neville, David's best friend and fellow footballer, was best man for the ceremony. A rich imperial purple carpet runner connected the castle to the wedding marquee. The marquee was full of deep red roses everywhere. There were also trees with apples hanging from them! There were even two red velvet thrones for David & Victoria at the end of the marquee! The wedding ceremony took place at 4pm for the 29 witnesses which were only family members and extremely close friends, which included the other 3 Spice Girls. At 8:30pm guests sat down for dinner. The tables were covered with shiny silver cutlery and plates that really sparkled. For the dinner party Victoria changed into an evening dress designed and made by Antonie Berradi. Brooklyn also changed into a different outfit which was also designed by Berradi! At the dinner a medly of Mozart and Bach was played, along with Ronnie Hazelhurst's theme to It's a Knockout. The classical orchestra had even devoted several months to mastering "classical adaptations" of Spice Girls hits which were played! The dinner menu comprised red pepper soup, followed by breast of turkey or grilled Mediterranean vegetables and for pudding, David's favorite dessert, sticky toffee pudding. An alternative was also available, it was summer berry terrine. The wines served were a New Zealand white and a red Côtes du Rhône and Guinness was served afterwards.

The only dissapointment of the whole wedding was that Elton John was unable to make it. He had to call off his performance at the wedding because he was too ill to fly. His doctors advised against flying. He was said to be suffering heat-stroke after getting too much sun in Italy while on his current European tour. There were 437 people on staff, matching guests 2 to 1 at the wedding. The tight security worked extremely well as no paparazzi or uninvited guests got through. The security even featured sensors that would be triggered on the grounds in case of people trying to jump the gate the night before. Phone and radio jammers were also installed to prevent electronic eavesdropping. The Mirror newspaper has admitted that for 24 hours they tried to sneak their way into the wedding but had no success. After the dinner, a disco was planned, red and white balloons were released, and a fireworks display was given before teh guests left around 2am. The skies remained clear and blue despite reports the previous day of possible showers. David and Victoria Beckham's honeymoon destination remains a tight secret, but it is rumored to be in the Caribbean.

More Wedding Info

There were 236 guests at the wedding, and everybody had to wear a security tag, even baby Brooklyn. Of the 29 close family members and friends that witnessed the actual wedding ceremony were of course the other three Spice Girls. Victoria's Girl Power philosophy stuck with her as she did not pledge to "obey" husband David Beckham. That part of the exchange of vows was cut out. Both David and Victoria shed tears after exchanging vows. The couple did not see each other today at all before the wedding. After the wedding when Victoria and David joined the remaining 236 guests they were treated to an 18-piece orchestra that was playing rehearsed numbers, including a Spice Girls medley!

Victoria Married

Victoria Adams has been married David Beckham. She has become the second Spice Girl to get married. The marriage apparently took place at 4pm UK time, and a single dove was released as a symbol of their love. Only 29 close family members and friends actually saw the wedding, the other approximately 500 guests as previously reported are all attending the reception. Those are the only details now available from the wedding. The tight security seems to be working well. David Beckham was acting extremely relaxed this morning before the wedding as he played golf on the Luttrellstown Castle golf course which surrounds the Castle! Air Safety Alert

Air traffic controllers at the Irish Aviation Authority have issued a safety warning in Dublin due to worry of a high volume of air traffic. This is due to the massive amounts of air traffic going on, helicopter wise. Many of the guests were being flown into Luttrellstown Castle via hellicopter. To add to these choppers are the hellicopters of the press photographers, which hired hellicopter's themselves to try to catch an exclusive snap of Victoria, David, & Brooklyn. Luckily for wedding the attendants of the wedding, a one kilometer no-fly zone around Luttrellstown Castle has been introduced to keep away the prying aircraft.

RUMOR WARNING

According to the Sunday Mirror, Victoria and David will actually wed in a 220-year-old fairytale stone folly located on the grounds of the 550-acre Luttrellstown Castle. They will wed beneath a romantic canopy of flowers in an idyllic Irish glen with its own magical wishing well. An army of workmen have spent the past week preparing the folly, sprucing up brickwork and knocking down a wall. Victoria and David will arrive in a carriage pulled by two white horses (along a drive which has had special black stones laid on it) and then walk hand-in-hand under a specially-built 20-metre walkway covered in fresh flowers before climbing 12 wooden steps up to the folly. The steps have been covered in carpet so that Victoria's heels won't get stuck in any cracks in the wood.

Brooklyn At Altar

Baby Brooklyn will be at the altar during the wedding! Father David Beckham will tenderly cradle the four month old child as Victoria walks down the aisle. A close friend of the couple said: "David and Victoria had no doubts at all that Brooklyn should be with them when they exchange their vows. The fact that David will be holding Brooklyn means everything to them. They believe it's a way of binding the three of them ever closer together. Victoria always stressed she wanted a spiritual element to the wedding. With Brooklyn in David's arms she believes she has found it." David apparently still does not know what Victoria's dress looks like, but it is believed to be a shoulderless silk dress with a distinctive letter "B" for Brooklyn sewn into it. The couple spent last night sleeping in seperate bedrooms in Luttrellstown castle to keep a traditional touch to the wedding. It has also now been reported that Elton John will sing "Something About The Way You Look Tonight" at the start of the reception.

The Bishop

The secret of who will marry Victoria Adams and David Beckham was finally unlocked today when Anglican Bishop of Cork, the Rt Rev Paul Colton flew into Dublin today. The reverand is actually a big Manchester United fan. Just before the arrival of the reverand was the arrival of soccer hero Sir Bobby Charlton. All the guests as mentioned before have arrived by now.

Weather Conditions

There is a very good chance of picking up showers in the Dublin area tomorrow, and some of them are likely to be heavy. Temperatures will be a moderate 18C, and a chilly 15C in the evening. A downpour could put a dampener on plans for a massive firework display to end the evening. But at least there will be brief sunny spells.

More Upset Locals

Locals of Dublin are now expressing extreme discontent with the wedding of Victoria Adams and David Beckham, which is only a few hours away. This is because 125 security guards from three firms of the Dublin police force will be at the wedding tomorrow. This is for even more security. Apparently a secret memo was sent to the police asking them to wear their best uniforms tomorrow and they would be provided with free refreshments inside the castle grounds. Locals are of course enraged that the police will be enjoying free refereshments tomorrow while criminals run the streets. One local said: "This is a disgrace. These officers are supposed to be dealing with car thefts, drug dealing and street crime, instead they will be providing free security at the wedding of a millionaire pop singer and a football player." Comment from the police force is: "We will have to have a presence there because of the amount of wellwishers and traffic that will be expected in the area. They will be controlling traffic, looking after the public and ensuring the safety of the many VIPs that will be in the area."

Ring Of Steel

Security at the wedding really is extremely tight. There has been a ring of steel erected round the 560 acres of Luttrellstown Castle, Dublin, with security guards flown over from England for the occasion! One security guard said: "We have all been told this is the biggest security risk ever at a British wedding - and we have to be 250% alert."

All guests for the wedding by now have arrived in Dublin. David Beckham is not having a stag night out tonight. He gave up the opportunity for a "more quiet evening with friends."

Honeymoon Rejected

David Beckham yesterday turned down a free $25,000 honeymoon on the Great Barrier Reef. The offer was made after David indicated that the wedding would make him miss Manchester United's upcoming games with the Socceroos. The all expense paid honeymoon was offered by stock broker Rene Rivkin who is desperate for Becks to play because she is backing Man United's tour this month. Beckham declined the offer because of already made honeymoon arrangements.

Victoria Has Arrived!

95.8 Capital FM, a London radio station, just reported that Victoria has landed in Dublin just moments ago!

Nervous Victoria

Victoria and David have officially made their last appearance in England before being married. They posed for interviews and photographs outside their parents' home in Goff's Oak, Hertshome before leaving for the airport. Victoria said:

"I've got a bit shaky. But I'm OK, I'm fine."

That may very well be the final Victoria quote we hear before she is married. David Beckham however insisted:

"I'm not at all nervous."

But a friend of his said:

"He is a bit nervous. It's all he's thought about since the season ended. For him it's the culmination of the perfect year, the birth of his son Brooklyn, United's treble and now walking down the aisle with Victoria."

The Mirror did the interview and gave her a beautiful bouquet of flowers and told her they were from the Mirror and all their readers. Victoria said "Thank you so much, they're beautiful." Soon after Victoria, David, family and friends sped off in a burgundy people carrier with tinted windows.

Radio Request

Victoria's father Tony Adams phoned in a request to BBC Radio 2 to request a song for his daughter on the countdown. He requested that DJ Ed Stewart play Stevie Wonder's 1977 hit "Sir Duke". Mr. Adams said Victoria has danced to the song for years. Mr. Adams said Victoria and David would be tuning in to hear it on their way to the airport before flying out to Dublin for the celebrations. Mr. Adams called shortly before leaving for the airport himself.

The Sun newspaper(UK) is offering readers to purchase some Victoria & David wedding memorabilia. For nearly £17 you can own a plate, mug and tea towel featuring a photograph, plus a T-shirt for £8.99. All profits go to a charity and the Sun has done this in of course an ironic way. Here is their description of the memorabilia:

"Each item carries a not-at-all cheesy picture of the glamorous couple in matching black leather jackets, complete with the words Posh & Becks and the date of their big day. The mug and plate are made of genuine imitation porcelain. MTV UK is showing an entire Spice Girls weekend from 8am to 10 pm on July 24th & 25th.

Mad Golfers

Members of a Championship golf course, which costs £12,000 to join, and £720 a year in fees are furious about the effect that the Victoria and David wedding is having on them. A sign on the chalet-style clubhouse reads: "Due to a private function, the course and clubhouse will be closed to members and visitors on Sunday July 4." Victoria and David bought out the golf course for Sunday for £15,000 in fears that photographers might get a snap of the event from the long par five 12th hole. Golfers are furious, here is what some of them, along with some of the staff constructing the wedding equipment said:

"They don't want to know us on Sunday because of the wedding - it's a disgrace."

"I think it's a load of shit! They're so rich and have so many fans but, rather than share their happiness, nobody gets a look in and they can earn yet another million quid."

Victoria TrackHer

Victoria and David were at a fasion shoot in Scotland yesterday. The shoot took place in the Scottish Highlands. It was done with Vanity Fair magazine for a deal of £1 million. It was done in a remote part of Scotland and David Beckham wore only a pair of charcoal grey Chino trousers, while Victoria was wearing a pink gown and blue shoes with pink soles.

Girl Power Day

Doh, forgot to mention this yesterday. But July 1st 1999 marks the three year anniversary of "Wannabe", which was released as a single in the UK on July 1st 1996. Here is an update that the girls made on their official homepage:

Arrivals Begin

Guests for Victoria and David's Sunday wedding are expected to start flying into Dublin today. Gary Neville, best man for the wedding told a Bolton school that he would be arriving in Ireland today along with some of the Manchester United football team.

Cake Auction

Victoria Adams and David Beckham's engagement cake will be auctioned off tomorrow to the highest bidder to help raise money for a village school. The cake was originally given to David & Victoria as an engagement present by the management of Rookery Hall, a country house hotel in Nantwich, Cheshire, when they held their engagement party there last year. The cake is a replica of the hall. David & Victoria never made it to the party because they discovered that the media had found out about it and would be there. The cake was then auctioned off at a charity raffle at the hall. A mother named Lisa Hocknell won the raffle and donated it to her daughter Emily's new school to be auctioned. It will be auctioned off tomorrow Goostrey Community Primary School in Goostrey, Cheshire will auction off the cake. They hope to make £10,000.

In an MTV news brief Melanie C was asked what she thought of Geri Halliwell's solo material. She answered:

"It's good I like it, it's not my cup of tea though, but the video is brilliant she looks great."

Things are quickly springing up in Dublin for the big wedding between Victoria Adams and David Beckham which is only 2 days away! Giant trucks are delivering tons of equipment and a marquee is being linked to the castle by a tunnel stretching across the grounds to keep the couple from the eyes of aerial cameras. A wedding at Luttrellstown castle costs £10,000, but catering the event for 300 guests will boost that price up significantly. Rumors are that the wedding is designed with a fairy-tale theme in mind. Victoria is said to want geese and swans wandering about the lawn after inspiration from the similar scene in the movie Father of the Bride. Once again male guests are being asked to wear specially designed black suits and women will wear white evening dress for the event. Star invitees such as Elton John and George Michael will provide entertainment. The whole Manchester United football(soccer) team will be attending minus Manchester United boss Alex Furguson in order to attend the wedding of Richard Sainsbury and Pamela Gordon at the Marcliffe at Pitfodels as a friend of the family.

Rumors Are False

The rumors that Victoria Adams and David Beckham are not clear to legally wed in Dublin are false. The Irish Times has confirmed that Victoria and Daved have given notification to the Registrar of Civil Marriages in Dublin of their intention to marry in the State in line with legal requirements. Three months notice has been given. The couple have followed all the procedures to allow them to wed there on Sunday.

In a recent interview with radio station Kiss 100FM(UK), Melanie B said:

Things Are Setting Up..

The scene is quickly setting for the wedding around Luttrellstown castle. Tight security kept onlookers away at the giant security gates of the castle, which can't be seen from the road. Delivery men unloaded a red carpet at the security gates. Remember that OK! Magazine has the rights to the wedding and will provide us with the first pictures.

Castle Wedding Not Official

Victoria Adams and David Beckham can't legally say "I do" this weekend in the Dublin castle they plan to wed in. Neither the church of Ireland nor the registrar for civil marriages in Dublin will have anything to do with the ceremony. This is because the couple failed to meet three basic requirements to wed in Dublin.

• Neither of the couple has lived in Dublin County for the last 15 days.
• They haven't given three month's notice to wed.
• They did not post their marriage banns at least 22 days ago.

This means that Victoria and David will have to officially get married in England and then fly to Dublin for a marriage blessing. The main party and events other then the official declaration of matrimony will still take place in Luttrellstown Castle. The deputy registrar for civil marriages of Dublin, Hannah Conway said:

"We don't do hotel or castle weddings. Obviously the David Beckham marriage has been the talk of the city for some weeks. But we are not involved, and nobody is conducting any service on a civil level from here. You have to remember that there are very stringent requirements to get married in Dublin, either by licence or civil ceremony."

A spokesperson for the church of Ireland said:

"Yes, we've heard the rumours too. But the banns are not up, notice has not been given and to the best of our knowledge we are without any knowledge of involvement in the wedding of these two people."

Also, the word as to why Geri really isn't attending the wedding is that there could be a lot of tension if the Spice Girls met up with Geri again, and a wedding is not the right place for such an event.
