YouTube continues its roll out of international versions with an official launch in Germany today. The site is in German (except for the YouTube tagline “Broadcast Yourself”), but essentially follows the same layout and feature set of its international counterparts.

As part of the launch, Google/YouTube has come to an agreement with GEMA, an oversight agency for the music industry in Germany, as well as formed a partnership with ZDF, one of Germany’s public television stations.

The launch of YouTube Germany follows recent launches in Canada, New Zealand, and Australia. According to some new comScore data out today, Germany is one of the larger Internet markets in Europe, with about 47% of the population currently online (33 million people).
