St Paul's Middle School St Helena - Home Page

Welcome to St Paul's First and Middle School. Our school is located in a very beautiful part of the St Paul's district of St Helena, known as Pounceys. It has a magnificent view of The Barn, Flagstaff Hill, High Knoll Fort and Thompson's Hill with vistas of the South Atlantic.

The school has a large catchment area incorporating: Blue Hill, Sandy Bay, St Paul's, Vaughn's and Hunt's Bank areas, Thompson's Hill, Guinea Grass through to New Ground and a large proportion of Half Tree Hollow.

The First and Middle Schools were amalgamated on 1 August 2000. St Paul's now caters for Keystages 1 and 2, with a total student population of 150 from ages 4 through to 11. There is also the provision of Nursery Education 3 days a week.

The school operates under the Headship of Ms Alice Greentree and the Deputy Head, Mrs Freda Green (Upper School).

The school is committed to providing a stimulating educational environment that develops pupils academically and socially, encouraging them to become responsible and caring citizens.

At St Paul's Middle School we strongly believe that "Together Everyone Achieves More" (TEAM). It is our aim to build on our environment and relationships, where respect for each other as individuals is paramount.

Please take some time to browse around our site and meet some of the staff and students.
