Telephone Proxy and Absentee Bidding
Moniker’s Live Domain Auctions are private affairs being held in coordination with the event organizers. Attendees to the event are automatically eligible to view or bid in person at the auction. If you cannot attend the auction in person, you have three ways to place bids remotely in any given auction: Live Online Bidding, Telephone Proxy Bidding or Absentee Bidding. A designated proxy bidder will be assigned to the domain lots you're interested in, and will call you when your lots come up for bidding. You determine live on the phone if and at what level you will bid. |
With an absentee bid, you provide the auctioneer with a list of the lots you're interested in and your maximum price for each. The auctioneer then bids on your behalf, using commonly accepted increments, up to your maximum bid. |
Costs: $499 flat fee: Moniker account required. Note: The fee does NOT apply toward purchase. |
Cost: Free: Moniker account required. |
We highly recommend you make arrangements for bidding in any live auction at least 48 hours in advance. All Telephone Proxy and Absentee Bidding requests must be received in Moniker’s South Florida office by noon Eastern Time on the business day PRIOR to the live auction.

To sign up for Absentee and Telephone Proxy Access:
1.) Open a FREE Moniker Account
If you’re already a Moniker account holder, skip to Step 2.
2.) If Telephone Bidding, complete invoice
From the list above, download the invoice for the auction you’re interested in, complete fully. Remember to sign the form. If you are not Telephone Bidding, skip to Step 3
3.) Fully complete your Bid Form
From the list above, download the Absentee & Telephone Bid Form for the auction you’re interested in, complete fully and sign.
4.) Fax completed forms to 954-969-9155
Fax your signed Bid Form and invoice (if telephone bidding) to Moniker’s South Florida office. Invoices and forms received during business hours will be processed right away.
5.) Confirm your request has been processed
Contact your sales representative directly or send an e-mail to sales@moniker.com. Subject MUST read “URGENT: Absentee/Proxy Bidding Access." Please include the date and time you fax over your forms.
