I was down at the World Trade Center shooting a progress report for Gothamist on Friday. We covered a lot of ground- all the way from the top of 1WTC to the very bottom of the pit under the memorial plaza. I was surprised by how moved I felt walking down the ramp inside the museum— it's an enormous space, and you have this sense of being very far underground, under the pools, under the towers, down, down, down.
So very sad that a bunch of lunatics were succesful in harming so many innocent people. I'm afraid that this is a wound to society that will never heal.
