Long-term migration of population      Metadata

Information on population number has been acquired by compiling and analysing the population and registered migration data of the Office of Citizenship and Migration Affairs, as well as Civil Registry data on births and deaths. Population number in 2011 in breakdown by months has been recalculated basing on the final results of the Population and Housing Census 2011, considering not only migration registered officially, but also emigration estimates. Number of population in 2012 in breakdown by months has been calculated considering registered migration (number will be recalculated at the beginning of 2013, taking into account estimates of non-registered emigration). Population number in 2001 – 2011 will be re-calculated after the publication of the Population and Housing Census 2011 final results.
