I've been freelancing for a while now. And here's what you should do if you want to continue being considered for long-term projects: - Keep learning - Be easy to work with - Respect your client's time - Communicate with your client - Always deliver your work to deadlines or before - Tell them if something is delayed as soon as possible It sounds really simple, but it's shocking how many freelancers fail to do some of the above. In 2023, I worked with a fair few freelancers and sometimes just showing up when they said they will, delivering work on time or keeping me in the loop were just some of things that made me want to work with them again. #freelancer #freelancetips #freelancework

🌟 Are you an Honest Freelancer? 🌟 In the vast world of freelancing, integrity is key. As professionals, it's crucial to uphold honesty in every aspect of our work. Here are a few reminders to ensure you're staying true to yourself and your clients: 1️⃣ Be Honest About Your Skills and Experience: Authenticity is your greatest asset. Don't oversell your abilities or claim expertise in areas where you lack proficiency. Clients value transparency, so be upfront about what you can and cannot do. 2️⃣ Don't Showcase Someone Else's Work as Your Own: Your portfolio should reflect your unique talents and past projects. Resist the temptation to pass off others' work as yours or resort to using stock images found on the internet. Clients trust you to deliver based on your own merit. 3️⃣ Say No to Nulled Software: It may be tempting to cut corners by using pirated or nulled software, but it's a slippery slope that compromises both your ethics and the quality of your work. Invest in legitimate tools and software licenses to uphold professional standards. 4️⃣ Be Transparent About Pricing: Honesty extends to your pricing structure. Provide clear and fair pricing estimates based on the scope of work involved. Hidden fees or sudden price hikes can erode trust and tarnish your reputation. 5️⃣ Disclose If You Outsource Work: If you collaborate with other freelancers or outsource certain tasks, be transparent about it. Clients deserve to know who is contributing to their project and what to expect in terms of quality and communication. 6️⃣ Admit When You Can't Do a Task: It's okay to admit when a task falls outside your expertise. Instead of risking subpar results, consider referring the client to a more suitable freelancer or taking the opportunity to expand your skills through learning. Remember, honesty isn't just a virtue; it's the foundation of a successful freelancing career. #HonestFreelancer #IntegrityInFreelancing #ProfessionalEthics
